Tournament Rules
Armies built according to the current rules for Middle-earth Strategy Battle Gaming. Legacy models and armies will be permitted. Scenarios will be selected at random using the pool system from the Match Play Guide. Armies must be fully painted and based. They do not have to be pro-painter standard but some effort is expected and appreciated and if you unsure, please contact us. Army lists must be submitted no via Tabletop Admiral no later than 19th July 2026. Proxies and alternative miniatures may be permitted if they are unambiguous for your opponents but again, please do a courtesy check with us if you are uncertain. Players will get 3 Tournament Points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Victory Point (VP) difference is the first tiebreaker followed by VPs scored. Round 1 pairings will be randomly generated using Tabletop Admiral. Subsequent rounds follow swiss pairings. Games will be played on 4x4 tables with terrain set by the Tournament Organisers. Players must agree on terrain rules before starting a round. If disagreements arise or you are unsure of the terrain layout, please consult a TO. Players should always attempt to resolve rules disputes by consulting the relevant rulebooks before calling for a TO/referee. A TO/referee's ruling is always final. Please adhere to the high standards of sportsmanship set out in the Matched Play Guide and expected in this community. If you feel you are subject to unsporting conduct, notify us immediately.
